Coldridge Parishioners now have access to one of two defibrillators, located at :-

  • Kitchen Courtyard of Coldridge Village Hall
  • 'Old' Phone Box in East Leigh. 

If needed, follow the instructions on the cabinet and verbal guidance provided by the defibrillator device once in use.

Refuse Collection and Recycling

You can check refuse collection dates via the MDDC website or by calling Customer Services on 01884 255255.

COVID-19 Update:  6th January 2021

Devon Library services, both Mobile and 'brick and mortar' branches, have been suspended for the duration of the current Q1 2021 COVID-19 Lockdown. 
To help Library users, the following temporary arrangements have been put in place: -
  • Existing loans have been extended to week to 29th March 2021;  you can review loans online or by contacting your library via email.
  • Reservation charges will be suspended through to 29th March 2021 as items may take longer than usual to become available.
  • Devon's digital library remains open - where you can search, download and stream free eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and e-newspapers from the collection.

Devon Libraries (through their Torrington offices) operate a Mobile Library van that visits Coldridge Village Green on a once a month basis.

COLDRIDGE VILLAGE BUS SERVICE (#647) operated by MD Coaches

Our weekly bus service on Fridays (Public Holidays Excluded) is now operated by MD Coaches. The service runs between Hatherleigh (via Coldridge) and Exeter, departing for Exeter at 09:51 hrs from the Village Green, returning at 14:37 hrs.  Full details of the service timetable and route are available below:-

In line with prevailing COVID-19 security guidelines, use of the service is on a pre-booked basis only. To make a pre-booking contact the MD Coaches office between 0700hrs & 1700hrs, Monday to Friday on 01363 82200. 

Note as this is a registered service, the bus will travel to Coldridge as per timetable whether any pre- bookings have been made or not.
