🚜🌻St Margaret's Church - Harvest Festival - Sunday 10.45am 🌻🚜

This Sunday (6 September) we will be holding our Harvest Festival service in the church starting at 10.45 am.  Apologies that, because of a printing error, this is not clear in the schedule of services in the Today magazine.
The service will be led by Christopher Rowley, one of the retired clergy helping in the Exe Valley and Tim Hughill will be playing the organ to accompany the singing of traditional harvest hymns.  As always, thanks to our team of creative flower arrangers, the church will also be decorated with autumn and harvest themed arrangements.
The service will also include Holy Communion for those wishing to take it.
After the service there will be tea, coffee and biscuits and a chance to chat with friends and neighbours.
We hope that you will be able to join us as we give thanks for the land, its produce and those who work so hard to help provide food for our tables.

Stoodleigh Community Help Network:  Update

The Stoodleigh Community Help Network continues to be on hand should our neighbours need assistance!

Since April 2020 and during the coronavirus pandemic several residents in our parish volunteered to support their neighbours by helping with everyday necessities. Our community is great at offering help to one another under normal circumstances so the group were able to provide an extra back-up.

The group offering their support to people in the community will continue to be available should residents need help at particular times with necessities like shopping and collecting prescriptions, etc.

Stoodleigh residents, please remember, if you need some help, or know someone in our parish who might need some support, please let us know.

You can email stoodleighweb@gmail.com and we will do our best to put you in touch with one of our volunteers.
