The Oakford Parish Council is delighted to launch the first “Oakford Parish Newsletter” to provide information about activities from across the Parish. Given the lockdown and general restrictions throughout the past year, you may think that there is little ‘news’ to tell – but the Newsletter is packed with four pages of information from the Church, Village Hall, various social groups and the Parish Council itself. It will also serve as an introduction to the many families who have moved into the Village and who may not be aware of the many activities that enhance ‘normal’ life here.

We had hoped to distribute a printed copy of the Newsletter to everyone in the Parish, because we are aware that not everyone is online and we didn’t want anyone to miss out on this information. However, current Lockdown restrictions have prevented us doing that, so we are taking two steps to provide a paper copy for anyone who wants one. Firstly, there are a number of printed copies in the Telephone Kiosk in the Village centre which you are free to take. Secondly, we would like you to make us aware of anyone you know of in the Parish who cannot access the Newsletter electronically: please drop an email to cllrgbaylis.oakfordpc@gmail.com or cllrjmayer.oakfordpc@gmail.com with their postal addresses and we shall post a copy to them.
