Parish Council Vacancies

Oakford Parish Council a vacancy for a Parish Councillor and invites applications for co-option.

If you are interested in becoming a Parish Councillor, please read the Co-option Policy for more information then complete an application form and return it to the Clerk.

Note that Parish Council Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month, at Oakford Village Hall.

Councillor Qualification Criteria:

You must:

• be registered as an elector for the parish; or
• be resident in the parish for the past twelve months or rented/tenanted land or other premises in the parish; or
• have your principal place of work in the parish; or
• have lived within three miles (direct) of the parish.
