Councillors: you are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Oakford Parish Council to be held in the Committee Room at Oakford Village Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 8th June 2026 for the purpose of transacting the following business.

Members of the public and press are invited to attend the meeting.

AGENDA

To receive apologies for absence.

Declarations of Interest:

In accordance with the Code of Conduct, members are required to declare any personal or disclosable pecuniary interests, in items to be considered at this meeting. 

Public Forum:

an opportunity for members of the public to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business on the agenda, or any matter of interest to the parish. No member of the public will speak for more than 3 minutes. The period of time designated for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.

To agree the minutes of the Annual Parish Council meeting held on 11th May 2026 as an accurate record of the meeting.

Planning

a) To comment on any planning applications received before the meeting.

No applications received when the agenda was published.

b) To note any planning decisions made by MDDC.

26/00564/PNAG Prior Approval for the erection of an agricultural storage building. Location: Land at NGR 289762 123318 East Tapps Farm, Oakford. Decision: Prior approval not required.

c) Update on action being taken regarding the dumping of soil and associated works at Oakfordbridge.

Highways:

Footpaths

a) To discuss the email from the owner of the field adjacent to the village which Footpath 5a passes through

b) To receive an update on the application for a Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO) under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 for Footpath 5a.

Community Area:

b) To note any receipts since the last meeting and the bank balance.

d) To agree the appointment of an internal auditor

g) To agree that the Parish Council wishes to certify itself as exempt from a limited assurance review under Section 9 of the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015.

To discuss the replacement of the Oakford website before April 2027 when MDDC will no longer provide the service
