Parish Council Agenda: January 2025
Councillors: you are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Oakford Parish Council, to be held in the Committee Room at Oakford Village Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 13th January 2025 for the purpose of transacting the following business.
Members of the public and press are invited to attend the meeting.
AGENDA
To receive apologies for absence.
Declarations of Interest:
In accordance with the Code of Conduct, members are required to declare any personal or disclosable pecuniary interests, in items to be considered at this meeting.
Public Forum:
An opportunity for members of the public to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business on the agenda, or any matter of interest to the parish. No member of the public will speak for more than 3 minutes. The period of time designated for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.
To agree the minutes of the meeting held on 9th December 2024 as an accurate record of the meeting.

Highways:

b) To discuss and prioritise the highway schemes from Melanie Mckenna, DCC Highways Neighbourhood Officer.
c) To discuss the placement of flexi verge markers on the Summers Bench verge.
d) Update on flooding issues/blocked drains

Footpaths:
a) Update on 2024-25 P3 funding
b) Any other footpath matters
Reports:
a) County Cllr Report.
b) District Cllr Report.
Community Area:
a) Any points to note from inspections of community area.
b) Update on cutting back the overhanging branches and chipping them onto the surface at the entrance to the Community Area and on the bridge.
c) To discuss the possibilities of creating a footpath from the Village Hall car park to the Community Area.
d) Any matters to note
Finance
a) To approve any invoices or expense claims presented for payment.
b) To note any receipts since the last meeting and the bank balance.
c) Bank reconciliation 31.12.24.
d) To agree the budget for 2025-26.
e) To agree the precept for 2025-26.
