- GOV.UK domain
The clerk confirmed that the government has made it mandatory for all parish councils to have a gov.uk domain before the end of March 2026. Parish Online seems to be the best option for a new GOV.UK website to be created and to include new email addresses for the clerk and all councillors.
Parish Online will charge £315 plus VAT per year.
Proposal: Mr Mitchell proposed and Mr Berry seconded agreement to use Parish Online to set up our GOV.UK domain. The meeting unanimously agreed.
- CRV APPEAL NE DEVON
Some discussion took place as to whether the parish council should make a donation to this request, but it was felt if donations were to be made it should go to something more local and relevant.
Proposal: Mr. Berry proposed and seconded by Mrs Mitchell not to make a donation to CRV, the meeting unanimously agreed.
