Announced earlier this week and introduced today to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, click here to get an overview on these new local COVID alert levels as they apply to England - including what they mean, why they are being introduced and what the different levels are.

Full guidance on the new restrictions in place in an area where the local COVID alert level is MEDIUM is now available via the GOV.UK website - click here.
