Local Amenities 

 

Green play spaces – Meads Meadow, a play park for under 11s, and Jack’s Acre, a large green space in the middle of the village with football goals, basketball hoop and outdoor exercise equipment.

Primary School – the school was built in 2010, replacing the old school which was previously the longest thatched school in England.

Doctors’ Surgery – we are fortunate to have our own surgery in the village providing a high level of care to parishioners.

Community shop – the volunteer led shop provides an essential service in the heart of the village.

Parish Hall – the hall was renovated by a volunteer led workforce in 2016 and is a fantastic venue for local events.

Post office – a mobile service visits the Parish Hall twice weekly: Tuesday 14.00 – 16.00 and Thursday 9.00 – 10.30.

Defibrillators  - the Parish Council funded three defibrillators at the following locations:
